Where is the pathway located?
Bricks are located on Shafer Court where the VCU Cabell Library, the Hibbs Building and Shafer Court intersect. Locate your already purchased brick.
What percentage of the brick purchase is tax deductible?
Roughly 50 percent of the total amount goes toward the cost of the brick, the inscription of the brick and labor for the installation of the brick.
How long is the Pathways Campaign going to last?
The campaign will continue indefinitely or until the pathway along Shafer Court is completely filled.
How many lines and characters can I have placed on my brick?
Each brick can hold up to two lines with 17 characters per line. A space counts as a character.
Will I be informed when the brick is placed on the pathway?
When the brick is installed a letter will be sent informing you that the brick has been placed. A general location of the brick will also be provided.
When will my brick be installed along the pathway?
In order to keep our costs down, we will order bricks in lots of 100 or more. It takes about six weeks for the bricks to be inscribed and delivered. Once the bricks arrive here at VCU installation takes another two to three weeks.
